The Office of the Accountant-General, Gombe State is supervised by the State Ministry of Finance and Economic Development. It has the status of an extra-ministerial Department of the Ministry, and is headed by the Accountant-General of the State. The major function of the Office is maintenace and operation of consolidated revenue fund and other funds of the state to enhance effective planning and service delivery. It equally collects revenue on behalf of the Government and accounts for the totality of revenue of the Government.
