This Administration is committed to the entrenchment of transparency and accountability in Gombe state.In addition,the Administration is also committed to laying the foundation for the operation of modern treasury accounting system driven by information technology.Earlier,Government has invested in the Computerization of the Final Accounts Department.This effort resulted in the timely preparation and production of our Annual Audited Accounts.

During the Year,the manual acccounting systems in Central Accounts,Treasury Headquarters Gombe was Discontinued and an integrated computerized accounting system introduced.with this development,the central accounts operation was integrated with the final accounts Department Software,Which now Provides online Real Time infomation on the activities of the Treasury Headquarters.

To implement this project,twenty six(26) Staff drawn from the final accounts Department,Central Accounts,budget and planning Department and office of the Auditor General attended intensive hands-on traninig and capacity building for 4 four weeks in the office of the computer consultants.
